The National Small Private Business Labour Consultants was established to provide comprehensive support, assistance and advice to employers and small businesses in South Africa. We understand that running a successful business, and a compliant one, can be costly. Mission

The National Small Private Business Labour Consultants
has a mission to:

  • Provide a level of service that takes the hassle out of the day-to-day HR/IR issues and allow employers to be productive in the managing of the business and making it a profitable company.
  • Resolve disputes by limiting the risk to unfair labour practices, unfair dismissal disputes, etc. on an industrial level and harmonious workplace. Members will have the benefit of centralised services which include, but is not limited to, Employment Equity, BBBEE, and recruitment, among others.

We provide a legal advice helpline 24/7, 365 days of the year where our clients speak directly with a Legal Advisor in order to effectively address any matter as soon as possible.

When clients joins NSPBLC they receive proactive training with regards to all aspects of the employer’s relevant sector / Bargaining Council. Employment contracts, payslips, policies, procedures, disciplinary code and pro-forma labour law documentation (warnings, ultimatums, etcetera) will be provided and explained.

Representation at the CCMA, Bargaining Council, and Labour Court.

Draft and implementation of contracts/policies/procedures/relevant legislation to ensure compliance in the sector that is associated with the operations.

The NSPBLC is in the process of registering as an employers’ organisation with the Department of Labour – this means that we are authorised to represent you in the CCMA, Bargaining Council, and Labour Court.

We provide assistance in disciplinary hearings, strikes, restructuring, retrenchments, trade union negotiations, DoL inspections, employment equity, BBEEE, recruitment, occupational health and safety and skills development.
